What clients ask us
25 years of international clients means we know exactly what concerns buyers have when building in Costa Rica's South Pacific for the first time.
Do i need to be in Costa Rica to manage the project?
How long does a typical project take?
What are your architecture fees?
No — the majority of our clients live in the US, Canada, or Europe and manage their projects remotely. We provide weekly photo and video updates, scheduled video call check-ins, transparent milestone billing, and written confirmations at every project decision. We are your single point of contact for everything, from permit applications to contractor management.
From starting design to moving in, a typical South Pacific residential project takes 5–7months. This includes 3–5 months for design and engineering, 2–4months for permits (depending on site complexity and whether a SETENA assessment is required), and 10–14 months for construction. We give every client a specific timeline estimate after the initial site assessment.
Our architecture fees range from 10.5% to 12% of construction cost for comprehensive services — including concept design, full construction documentation, structural engineering, permit management, and construction supervision. For a $400,000 construction project, this represents $42,000–$48,000 in professional fees. We provide a detailed fee proposal after the initial consultation.
