Experience
1973-Present: Collins Haynes was named as a partner in the prestigious design firm of Walk Jones &
Francis Mah, Inc., Memphis, Tennessee, in 1973 and remained until 1980 when he sold
his interest and relocated to Rogers, Arkansas. Mr. Haynes’ planning and design
experience includes Master Planning of Shelby State Community College in Memphis,
Tennessee, a 300,000 square foot facility and the design of the Collierville Middle School
in Collierville, Tennessee which was awarded AIA/ASSA Certificate of Excellence and
Masonry Institute Building of the Year Award in 1979. He also planned and designed the
Fine Arts Complex at Memphis State University, a 20,000-student facility.
Mr. Haynes has also served as Project Manager for the following:

Resume
Synopsis: Born July 5, 1950, in Jackson, Mississippi, Mr. Haynes graduated with honors from St.
Martins Prep School in 1968. During this time, Mr. Haynes was an illustrator for Deram
Records and produced illustrations for The Moody Blues. He also was a contract delineator
and artist for Karl Lagerfeld, Talbots and 13 Broadway productions and major concert and
broadcast venues. He was granted advanced placement at Tulane University School of
Architecture and continued his education under a series of academic scholarships until his
graduation in 1973. He was awarded several design honorariums including the Thesis Award
and the Goldstein Award for Architectural Illustration.
In 1983 The School of Architecture at The University of Arkansas named Mr. Haynes as a
Visiting Professor of Architecture. During the next four years, he was responsible for Thesis
Lecture and Design Studio 8, the final semester studio for graduating students and the
Fulbright Architectural Lecture.

The Al Ibrahim IL Ibrahim Foundation of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, retained Mr. Haynes as
architect for three Islamic mosque projects built in the United States. He was invited to office
in Riyadh and develop designs with the foundation architects, which he produced and
submitted to the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Los Angeles for construction.
A key member of design/production teams since 1973, Mr. Haynes has served many local
organizations on a continuing basis as a consultant and group member. He serves as
C.E.O. and Design Principal with Haynes and Associates Ltd. Inc. in Rogers, Arkansas. The
firm does not solicit private client work, but rather focuses on Land Acquisition, Engineering,
Architecture, Building Construction and Project Completion for select groups of investors.
Haynes Limited served as Managing Partner in 36 Limited Liability Companies with
members in Arkansas and 11 other states. Company services include Property
Management, Leasing Acquisitions, Accounting, Financial Consultation, Tax Matters and
Architectural Design/Build Services.

Mr. Haynes broad experiences include all major building and planning types. He has
consistently demonstrated the ability to design both aesthetically correct and cost effective
building projects. His involvement in total project development affords Mr. Haynes an insight

into the burgeoning complexity of project administration, cost control and financial viability
and return for his partners. His tenure as a registered Architect/ Construction Manager has
been on going for the past 37 years with Architectural Licences in 18 States and National
Council Of Architectural Registration Boards Certification.
