In April 2000 he co-founded Neo Architects, a leading architectural firm located in Costa Rica that has since reinvented the business of developing sustainable and innovative residential, tourism, and commercial projects. As Principal and Design Director of NEO, Mr. Mendieta has achieved outstanding annual revenue growths during 22 consecutive years.

Under his direction, Neo Architects was chosen by the renowned architecture, building, and land development firm Haynes Limited, based in Arkansas, USA, as local partner for the development of  exclusive residential projects along the pacific coast of Costa Rica and world wide presence.

Mr. Mendieta is currently sole partner of Neo Architects and has complete autonomy within the company. He provides consulting services of architectural design, Land development, finances and marketing strategies for commercial and residential project developments also consulting on industrial design and Art.

In 2004, Mr. Mendieta funded Quimera Developments Capital , a full service real estate developer and investment company headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica. The company has developed more than 3.650.000 square feet of space and currently has 2,700.000 square feet in planning or under development with projects ranging from mixed used environments to business centers, and master planned residential communities.


Quimera Developments Capital principal objective is to provide communities and businesses with comprehensive real estate solutions by creating innovative projects that sustain an integral social vision and maintain high environmental standards.
